Position Title: Technical Professional Leader - Process

Position Description

KBR is seeking a Technical Professional Leader -- Process. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

Requirements

Responsible for study, design, and specification and services related to paper making and recycling of secondary fiber such as:

* Stock Screening and Cleaning

* Headboxes-Hydraulic and Dilution Profile Control Systems

* Forming-Table Components,Vacuum Requirements, and Driving Requirements

* Pressing-Roll and LNP

* Drying-Can and Flotation

* Size Press and Starch Makedown

* Coating

* Calendering

* Winders and Finishing

* OCC, ONP, and MOW Pulping, Screening, Cleaning, and Thickening

Responsible for heat and material balance, the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment.

May also be responsible for development of process simulators and advanced controls/process optimization

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Pulp and Paper Engineering

10 years process engineering experience on pulp and paper projects. PE preferred
