DIVISIONAL COORDINATOR

This position provides a variety of comprehensive administrative and support duties to aDivisional Vice President and requires a diverse range of skills and thorough knowledge oforganizational policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position butare not intended to be all inclusive.

* Provide administrative secretarial support for Divisional Vice President (DVP)

o Compose and edit correspondence and memos from dictation, written, and verbaldirectiono Manage confidential and non-routine information with absolute confidentiality

o Prepare, transcribe, compose, type, edit and distribute agendas and minutes ofmeetings as needed or requested

o Review mail, determine level of priority, and process accordingly

o Coordinate DVP's electronic calendar and coordinate meetings with RegionalOperation Directors, Facility Administrators, and corporate teammates

o Make travel arrangements as requested

o Reconcile and track expense reports for DVP

o Create and/or assist with creating presentations as requested or needed

o Act as facility and customer liaison for DVP, fielding calls and responding to needswithin scope of assigned responsibilities

o Coordinate and arrange conference calls and gather data as requested for calls

* Prepare or assist with the preparation of scheduled and ad hoc statistical and narrativereports; perform basic information gathering and analysis as directed and inaccordance with pre-established procedures

* Respond confidently, courteously, knowledgeably, and professionally to internal andexternal phone calls and office visits including company leadership, senior managers,teammates, and customers, exhibiting a "can do" customer service attitude

* Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, training sessions, interviews, appointments, and travel arrangements as required

* Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records and other documents

* Proactively monitor and request office supplies and equipment needs

* Prepare weekly and monthly divisional metric reports; gather data as needed

* Obtain and track monthly Medical Director fee invoices

* Coordinate the collection of and report information requests from the corporate office

* Pull monthly division census data and send to appropriate departments

* Other duties as assigned including but not limited to:

o Coordinate and team meetings as requested; attend education activities, inservices,and team meetings

o Handle special projects on an as-needed and sometimes urgent basis

o Understand and comply with DaVita policies and procedures (including DaVitaemployment policies and procedures) as well as all state and federal regulations forpatient care and services (CMS, HIPPA, OSHA, or other governing agenciesincluding but not limited to Joint Commission)

o Comply with state or federal regulations of the Injury Prevention and SafetyTraining Program

o Able to work overtime with little or no notice

* Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility ofthis position * Travel required: Up to 10%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essentialduties, include computer skills as required):

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Associate's degree or professional secretarial certification preferred

* Minimum of three (3) years' experience as administrative or executive assistantrequired

* Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm strongly preferred

* Basic proficiency and knowledge in Business Map, Geofinder Mapping Software,Expensable, Sidekick or Palm Pilot preferred

* Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andOutlook required

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to perform successfully the essentialfunctions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However,in general, the position requires the following physical activities:

* Ability to lift minimum of 1 pound to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; able to sitfor extended periods of time with some standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching,reaching; moderate range of body motions including continuous keyboarding(hand/finger dexterity).

* Ability to handle high volume telephone work with clarity and efficiency(hearing/speaking).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:Level III - Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, lighttraffic)No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would beencountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluidsor other hazardous conditions. Normal hazards associated with light business travel.
