The Department of Radiology at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida has a faculty position opening for an experienced and fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years post fellowship experience.

The successful candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Radiology with sub-specialty CAQ certification in Vascular & Interventional Radiology or hold an IR/DR certificate from ABR. Applicants should enjoy a dynamic busy clinical practice, and be interested in teaching residents and fellows with opportunities for research.

The section of Interventional Radiology performs a wide spectrum of peripheral arterial and venous interventions including AAA endografts, as well as complex biliary, genitourinary, and GI interventional procedures. The section has a very active interventional oncology practice and performs the entire spectrum of liver directed arterial procedures including y90 radioembolization and chemoembolization. Thermal ablation including RF ablation, cryoablation and microwave ablation of soft-tissue tumors are also performed. We have a very active uterine fibroid embolization program, an active PERT service, and we also perform prostate artery embolization. The section provides all image-guided tunneled and non-tunneled venous access for the hospital, and is responsible for the maintenance of hemodialysis access for the institution. We support a busy transplant center that performs liver, kidney, and heart transplants. The interventional service also provides all image guided biopsy and drainage procedure service for the institution. We are well supported by dedicated IR nurses, technologists, and 2 ARNPs, and we have a robust interventional radiology clinic to ensure the proper longitudinal clinical care.

Staff candidates should have advanced training in peripheral vascular intervention, hepatobiliary, genitourinary, embolotherapy, TIPS, dialysis access procedures and noninvasive vascular imaging including CTA and MRA.
