Driver/Warehouse Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionDriver/Warehouse Associate The primary purpose of this position is to complete daily warehouse activities including customer deliveries, receiving, repacking grease, oil reprocessing, and service work as needed.Functions:-Performs daily pre-trip inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance documentation and mileage logs.-Transports deliveries according to manifest in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and applicable DOT regulations.-Maintains a valid driver-s license and DOT physical card.-Processes shipment documents neatly and manages any discrepancy documentation.-Completes in plant service work as needed.-Assists on field service work as needed.-Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.-Keep an organized delivery schedule.-Utilize a planner to effectively coordinate daily activities.-Receive, store, and document inventory transactions.-Works in a cooperative manner with team and superiors-Meets and responds to the needs of assigned customers/projects in a professional and timely manner-Maintains a proficient level of understanding of products and services-Promotes safety with co-workers and customers.-Completes all requested training sessions and seminars requested.-Positive attitude with customer solutions.-Addresses any customer issues beyond immediate control to the needed parties. In this position effective time management and organizational skills as well as being capable of stress management and tolerance are both beneficial and necessary. As a Warehouse- Service Associate knowledge of the product, safety regulations, and warranty training are required. Working Conditions: Working conditions are indoors with moderate levels of noise and activity. Physical Requirements: This position requires candidates to stand for the majority of the work day as well as utilizing oral, auditory, and hand skills.
