Chemical Mixer

Chemical Mixer - Blaine, MN Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Chemical Mixer for one of our top clients in Blaine, MN.  This is temp-to-hire position, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. As a Chemical Mixer placed with Kelly Scientific Resources, you will be working with mixers and transfer/filtration pumps to produce batches of products used for production operations and outbound shipments.       Additional Job Responsibilities: Works cooperatively with Production Coordinator, Mix-room Supervisor, Lab, and co-workers, to fulfill various assigned duties.  Follows standard operating procedures, batch sheet instruction, general procedures, verbal or other written instruction to complete assignments. PLC units, transfer pumps, mixers, filtration, grounding and ventilation equipment observing all safety procedures.  Checks and verifies materials prior to batching, produces coatings, adhesives, pigments, and other products according to Batch Sheet specifications, standard operating procedures, and performs in-process quality control.  Ensures batched and finished product quality meets specifications or established standards.  Ensures proper additions and record keeping of information such as lot number, weights, time added, QC measurement, filtration, etc… for quality assurance. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner.  Complies with all safety rules including static control, ventilation, and use of proper personal protective equipment. Contributes to problem solving efforts, solutions, preventative actions, and general process improvement activities. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred. Previous lab experience is a plus!   Why Kelly?
