Job DescriptionOperates in various areas of manufacturing. Must be able to adjust to changing assignments and priorities as the need arises. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read, understand and follow all routers and bill of materials. Read, understand, and follow all Work Instructions for each Work Center. Understand basic Lean and 5S concepts. Perform all required quality inspections. Complete any necessary quality records. Perform general manufacturing assignments that may vary in job content. Train utility workers or temporary employees. Audit other employee-s work. Accurately complete all paperwork associated with each shop order. Accurately complete all operator Preventive Maintenance tasks and complete all required paperwork Other duties may be assigned. Panel Packaging Must use information provided, including Customer Identification, Box List, and Packaging Work Instructions to properly identify packaging requirements for each shop order. Must fold boxes and place appropriate number of panels into boxes as required by Work Instructions. Must inspect panel flatness in accordance with Work Instructions Must identify and record correct quantities of boxed panels and leftover panels. Must place panels onto totes or skids as required and properly identify each shop order. Must develop thorough knowledge of quality standards. Look for ways to improve and promote quality. Able to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner. Demonstrates dependability and reliability. Abides by safety and security procedures. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
