Job DescriptionA growing oil and gas company is seeking Assembly and Test Technicians to join their growing team! There are multiple openings on 1st and 2nd shift for this great career opportunity in one of Oklahoma's staple industries. 1st shift hours are 5AM-5PM M-F with every other Saturday required and 2nd shift hours are 5PM-5AM M-F with every other Saturday required. There are ample opportunities to earn overtime and advance in a fast-paced environment.The Assembly and Test Technician will assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products, identify faulty components during the assembly process and may be required to test assembled parts or products to ensure functionality.Job Duties & Responsibilities:-Maintain and build specialty industrial equipment.-Assemble and manufacture machinery as per specifications provided by superiors.-Assemble and pack items for a specific project according to a packing list provided by superiors.-Test completed machinery per guidelines.-Assist with building and yard maintenance as needed.-Assist with inventory updates.-Assist and rebuild machinery returned from projects.Skills & Knowledge:-Good mechanical background.-Require ability to operate forklifts and other material moving equipment- Knowledge of machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly.-Ability to work with minimal supervision and instruction.Education:-High School Degree or equivalent.-Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.Experience:-2+ year of experience.
