Mechanical Industrial Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Mechanic for a great manufacturing company in the Philly/NJ area.  The right person will be open to a traditional 2nd shift and have manufacturing experience.  Maintenance Mechanic Essential Job Functions: Timely repair of chemical process equipment. Installation of new equipment. Modifications to existing process for improvement and capacity purposes. Troubleshooting of equipment problems and process problems. Shop fabrication of various materials. Programming of electrical controls. General facility maintenance. Qualifications: 2 years of previous experience working with high speed production equipment. Demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude. Desired Skills: Knowledge of power transmission. Knowledge of chemical processing. Knowledge of pumping, flow, vacuum, pressure, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical devices. Experience with power and hand tools. Mechanical aptitude toward pipe fitting and metal fabrication a plus.  Self-Starter. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Solid work ethic, reliable and dependable. Education/Certifications: Minimum High School Graduate. A technical degree or working towards a technical degree.  Equivalent years of experience in the field.
