Drafter/Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Structural Drafter/Designer - Milwaukee, WI   Kelly Engineering Resources has an opportunity to work with an industry leader in structural design and fabrication as a Structural Drafter/Designer. This position is a Temp-to-Hire role.   Hours: 1st shift, Monday-Friday (full-time)   Job Scope of Structural Drafter: Checking the design of steel structures produced from designers/drafters.   Essential Responsibilities of this role: Typical work requires an understanding of Engineering processes and information Working with a cross functional team  to ensure accuracy of drawings, timeliness  Independently complete minor project activity as delegated by the Project lead Completing work on design projects with attention to accuracy according to design standards, bill of materials Draft and read over blueprints, designs and 3D models, work with Redline markups   Qualifications of the successful Structural Drafter: Must have some structural background 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD Computer literacy is a must, as most work requires the use of computer-based and 3D CAD systems Must be able to understand Bill of Materials, Design drawings, Design data and standards of design A college degree in a related field is not required, but preferred Why Kelly®?
