Manufacturing & Warehouse Janitor - Full-time / Part-time

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Janitor LOCATION:  Los Angeles, CA LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT:  Two Year Temporary OVERVIEW Maintain and keep the manufacturing and warehouse floors clean and in an orderly condition. Responsibilities Include: Perform heavy cleaning duties Clean floors by sweeping and scrubbing them, will be pushing a scrubbing machine to scrub floors Maintain packing areas and receiving docks Remove trash and debris from and beneath conveyor lines Dust, clean, and remove debris from warehouse racks Gather and empty trash receptacles from manufacturing and warehouse floors Replenish and maintain PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) bins with hairnets, beard coverings, ear plugs, and hand sanitizer Notify Team Lead of any needs of repairs to manufacturing and warehouse areas or equipment Maintain cleaning logs Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the manufacturing floor and warehouse Follow procedures for the proper use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent injury and damage to floors and fixtures Have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs Have basic reading and writing skills Wear all PPEs required, hairnet, safety glasses, ear plugs, sleeve coverings, gloves, and steel toe shoes/boots Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED Able to work overtime and occasional weekends Ability to effectively communicate and comprehend all manufacturing and safety protocols This position requires a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, employment and academic verification.
