Junior Buyer

Job DescriptionBuyerA leading manufacturer, retailer and distributors headquartered in Miami Lakes, FL has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to be part of our growing and competitive purchasing team. The Buyer will support the Purchasing Manager in the daily organization-s purchasing functions.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones- Negotiating pricing with Vendors- Liaising between Suppliers, Internal departments and customers- Review and make recommendations for opportunities to improve programs and terms with existing suppliers- Monitor and forecast market price changes and their impact.- Source and develop new products or business opportunities- Make recommendations for pricing strategy and promotions to increase sales- Coordinating with Warehousing for timely and efficient movement of inbound and outbound orders.- Manage and negotiate with Suppliers for claims/credits for defective product- Monitoring and managing the efficient resolution of: gains, losses and aged inventory to achieve Company goals.- Just In time Inventory control by maintaining accurate forecast information in buying system adjusting for seasonal fluctuations.Requirements & Qualifications:- At least 1 year of experience in Purchasing/Procurement- Excellent verbal and communications skills- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs- Strong attention to detail- Very knowledgeable of vaping products and the vaping industry- Nightly factory communications on Email, Skype and Wechat- Occasionally attend shows and conventions (requires traveling and some weekends)Compensation and Benefits:- Base Salary- Medical Insurance- Dental Insurance- Vision Insurance- Life Insurance- 401(k) Plan Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
