Receiving Inspector

Job DescriptionReceiving Inspectors are responsible for performing inspection of incoming components in accordance with documented quality standards and expectations to ensure the quality of incoming product. The receiving inspector will:1) Follow written and oral instructions to meet customer demands and material standards in assigned area 2) Perform manual and automated operations of equipment and processes following training and Standard Operating Procedures, Equipment Operating Instructions, and Work Instructions3) Perform appropriate quality inspection on incoming components. It may include but is not limited to custom-engineered components, printed circuit boards, and electronic components routed through receiving inspection4)Read and interpret drawings to determine pass/fail criteria in a timely manner. Display proper measuring techniques and skills wen using calibrated tools. Demonstrate high attention to detail while inspecting product and recording dataRequirements*A minimum of High School diploma or GED*Basic computer skills required *Strong attention to detail*Self motivated*Able to lift, reach, push, pull up to 45 pounds as required *Equipment worked with may include: caliper, CMM, micrometer, and other equipment as needed*Interpret GD&T Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
