Kelly Services, in partnership with OMNI Auto Parts, is currently recruiting for a Delivery Specialist located in the Nashville, TN area.  This is an excellent long-term opportunity for candidates with previous experience in an auto parts store. Job Summary Seeking a hard-working and energetic delivery specialist with strong work ethics and great customer service skills to provide outstanding customer service to customers. Services include, but are not limited to, parts deliveries/returns to/from customers putting up stock. Specific responsibilities include: Provide accurate parts deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely and efficient manner Process necessary paper work associated with deliveries, payment receipt, and customer returns Establish daily efficient delivery route(s) to ensure timely deliveries. Operate the delivery vehicles (car, van or pick up) in a safe and cautious fashion to maintain a clean driving record Ensure that vehicles are maintained, fueled and ready for use at start of each day Assist with material handling (including, but not limited to: receiving, unloading, stocking/restocking shelves and inventory cycle counts) Report any inventory discrepancies to PSC Manager and/or Assistant PSC Manager Understand, interpret, and comply with established Company policies, procedures and legal requirements Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal guidelines to include health, transportation and safety Minimum Qualifications The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant. Job Knowledge and Skill: Passion for delivering highest level of customer care. Basic knowledge of automotive parts. Maintain professional attitude, conduct and appearance. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations and/or traffic conditions. Experience: 1 - 3 years of vehicle driving experience Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.   Computer Skills: Working knowledge of inventory management systems preferred.   Physical Requirements The physical requirements described below are representative of those an employee must normally meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.   Must be 21 years or older. Visually capable of recognizing and understanding part numbers (letters and numbers) sequencing to ensure accuracy in parts deliveries/returns Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves ( eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds. Valid Driver's License with: No DUI convictions within the past four years; No more than three moving violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three years Good Driving record and ability to maintain it Flexibility in schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
