Kelly Services is currently seeking a Collections Specialist for one of our top clients in Rowland Heights, CA!
As a Collections Specialist placed with Kelly Services, you will serve as an integral member of our client’s accounting and finance team. Primary responsibilities will be to ensure processing accurate and timely process vendor rebate invoices, collections on past due accounts and perform other AR related tasks. You will also perform various clerical duties, i.e., make copies, file documents, etc.
Additional Duties:
Issue rebate invoices to vendors in a timely manner
Reviewing documents that support the vendor incentive invoices
Manage collection of receivables and ensure targets are met
Reconcile vendor rebate payments
Assist in receivables closing processes to ensure closing deadlines are met
Resolve vendor issues
Assist with external year-end audits
Other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma is required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting field is preferred
Must be proficient in Excel (Intermediate: inserting tables, charts, formulas)
2+ years of AR experience
Ability to treat all information confidentially
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
