Job DescriptionThe position is definitely in an office/cubicle, not manufacturing environment, but it is a plus if the person has experience in supply chain/manufacturing since they understand the terminology. Admin/Office duties, such as following procedures for screening new export customers, researching information on the web, saving files, entering information in Excel, screen product descriptions, updating internal USC database, and screening customer names and screening orders. They need the person to be very detail oriented, analytical and always double check their work and orders before sending them to the factories or shipping. They are the middlemen between the customers and the vendors. - Work as a member of a fast-paced production coordination team of three people. - Provide administrative support performing various clerical functions in support in manufacturing supply chain environment. - Report to the Operations Manager. Important Eligibility Note: The person selected for this assignment will require access to ITAR materials. According to U.S. government regulations, ONLY U.S. citizens or current lawful permanent residents (green card) are eligible for ITAR access. RequirementsRequired skills and abilities: Ability to review and evaluate detailed documents Ability to multi-task effectively Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work on time-sensitive projects and meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills Strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be a team player Proficiency with MS Office and email Desirable skills and experience (would be helpful): Some experience in a manufacturing service supply chain environment. Some experience 2 years - interest in manufacturing Bachelor-s Degree is preferred.
