Collections and Credit Specialist - Downtown Parking

Kelly Services is currently seeking several Collections and Credit Specialist for one of our top Healthcare Insurance clients in Indianapolis, IN   Collections and Credit Specialist 06/19/2017 to 05/31/2018 - long term contract with possible extension. The position will pay $18.00 per hour.   2 openings for 8:30am - 5:00pm and 1 opening for 11:00am - 7:30pm Downtown Indianapolis – Free Parking SUMMARY Phone Center experience needed Candidate will take inbound calls and make outbound calls to group business contacts We utilize Access databases, Excel spreadsheets and mainframe software – Testing Required Collection Call Center works with Group business This is business to business collections Customer Service skills more helpful than hard core collection experience. MAJOR JOB DUTIES Responsible for collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims Follows established guidelines, contacts group for the purpose of collecting past due insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims Researches validity of past due and/or disputed debt Generates demand letters Prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review EDUCATION: Requires a High School diploma 1-2 years of prior commercial debt collection experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
