Job Title: Buyer Work Location: Tualatin, OR Duration: 6 months, possible longer depending on work load and performance Hours per week: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday work week Pay Rate: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on experience   3-5 years Experience in role. SAP experience preferred. This position will plan and provide, at minimum costs, the necessary materials to manufacture sell-able products. Procure a variety of assigned commodities including those which are a non-standard or of a technical nature.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Negotiate prices, delivery, and conditions of purchase from suppliers for a variety of assigned commodities. * Implement controls to follow up purchase order, issue change notices, and catalog suppliers' prices and quotations in an efficient manner. * Request and analyze bids * Coordinate communication between operating departments and suppliers. * Prepare Purchasing Department reports and reviews.   Bachelors degree in Business Admin, Materials Planning or related field with 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment required.
