Landscaping Site Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is currently looking to hire a Landscaping Site Technician and we would love to hear from you.  You will be working for a global automotive giant in Dearborn, MI.  This excellent long-term assignment pays $16.00/hour.   Position Information Position:         Site Technician Location:         Dearborn, MI Pay Rate:        $16.00/hr. Schedule:       Monday - Friday Work Shift:     3:00pm – 11:30pm                   Assignment:   Long-term contract   Job Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for site maintenance, plant maintenance, annual flower installation, and minor landscape reconstruction/installation General contractual maintenance, such as fertilization application, herbicide applications, annual flower planting/maintenance, perennial maintenance & anti-transparent application Assisting with winter services during winter months as well duties including general trash pickup, pruning, painting, moving of office supplies, furniture, etc. Supervise the horticulture crew, including training and assigning daily work.  Safely operate and perform general maintenance on all necessary equipment such as a blower, redmax, weedwhip, bed edger, chainsaw, etc. Report of all equipment breakdowns or problems to the shop mechanics Complete required paperwork such as timesheets and equipment inspection forms Substitute for all absent foreman or on shorthanded crews as needed Fill out of all incidents and accident reports as required          Load and unload equipment, equipment trailers, and transportation of crew Additional duties and/or miscellaneous tasks on an as needed basis   Requirements & Qualifications 5 years’ experience/education in the field of a landscape, turf, or related industry. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree desired. Pesticide Certification within 60 days of employment. CDL A license within 60 days of employment. Plant material knowledge is preferred Computer knowledge and skills beneficial.
