Job Description:       Comply with company quality compliance policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as safety and environmental regulatory procedures. Manage, on a daily basis, the safe, cost effective execution of routine maintenance work, including permit to works, any deviations to work schedules through a CMMS or manually. Proficient with CMMS (computer maintenance management system) to be able to schedule, assign, track, and close completed assignments/work. Ensure all improvements in the work execution process are clearly communicated and implemented. Distribute and Close PMs in a timely manner. Providing detailed job plans that insure safe and efficient execution of all maintenance jobs. Coordinate with facilities group lead technicians weekend work schedule and distribute on a weekly basis. Request POs for invoices. Update Facilities GL account spreadsheet. Assist facilities mechanics with their POs, invoices and purchasing issues. Schedule, coordinate & manage preventive maintenance service for restraints, high speed doors, dock levelers, VRC’s, and rollup doors with contractors and department area owners. Responding to and participating in the timely execution of critical priority jobs. Continually updating job plans to ensure necessary changes or improvements are incorporated, and efficiencies are captured. Maintain a professional housekeeping system for workspace and related areas to assure a clean, orderly, safe and secure environment utilizing 5S principles. Manage the facilities housekeeping projects/requests from GMP areas related to plant facilities.        Update knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and environmental and safety regulations. Capable of working on quality compliance investigations, and change control for projects. Stay current with the plant’s training curriculum and certifications requirements. Work overtime as required. Adhere to daily work assignments. Adhere and be flexible to rotating schedules/shifts as needed per plant requirements. Able to work at any day of the week, and any shift of the day as required by plant needs. Participate and able to work on holidays as needed for plant maintenance and special projects. ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES: Monthly manufacturing areas (GMPs) walk-through and submission of work orders to correct observations. Co-create action items to review and re-train contractors for compliance. Manage computerized preventive maintenance program for plant facilities. Meet with potential contractors and vendors for new service contracts and renegotiations of existing contracts for purpose of creating cost savings and improved service. Create blanket POs for material and service purchases with suppliers and vendors. Complete and close work orders. Set up new vendor files. Contract Management – maintain vendor contracts and certificates of insurance. Maintain building, boiler, elevator permits. Enforce safety requirements to contractors. Walkthrough projects with various contractors and collect bids. Coordinate special activities for audits, high level visitors or activities. Report to the worksite in response to after-hours urgent or emergency situations. Order required repair parts and operating supplies. Participate in engineering projects and work with other groups or contractors to achieve plants goals. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
