Job Description1.0 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:a. Reliability in Attendance and Punctuality for scheduled shift, being able and ready to work.b. Participation in the Workers Warm-up Program prior to working in your station.c. Participation in all safety and workplace training communication for your scheduled shift.d. Replenish machines and assembly with raw materials, write down the information for each raw material brought in on the POR ATTACHMENT, and call the Quality Control Inspector to conduct a First Article Inspection. This must happen every time machines/assembly are replenished with raw materials. Information to write down on the POR ATTACHMENT is found below:o Date raw material was brought to the machine/assembly.o Item numbero Quantityo PO Number (for raw materials)o Name of Material Handler bringing in the raw materiale. Remove any supplies from previous product at the time of item change.f. Must refer to the PRODUCTION ORDER REPORT (POR) to ensure accuracy. Must inform supervisor of any damaged, unlabeled or mislabeled raw materials in the warehouse. g. Responsible to complete palletizing process of packaged product to be shipped to client, which includes moving cartons from tape machine to the pallet. h. Affix correct labels to finished sealed boxes located in pallets.i. Must maintain good housekeeping practices to keep assigned work areas in a clean and orderly condition.j. Install new tape rolls in automatic box sealer machines.k. Promptly move finished product to designated staging area. l. Maintain color hopper with adequate supply or correct color and correct let down ratio.m. Cover for assemblers during their lunch breaks when necessary.n. Operate the wire machine: load raw material, set up and ensure its proper and safe operation.o. Other job assignments as directed by supervisor.p. Observe and maintain product and packaging quality (any defective or questionable product should be removed and the inspector or superior informed. Q. Work in a safe manner and abide by all the companys safety rules.Requirements2.1 KNOWLEDGE: Shrink-wrap procedures, proper labeling process, packaging specifications, raw material and product knowledge, and use of master item sheet. Operating procedures and location of the operating handbook for the palletizer, tape machines, pallet jack, and any other machines used.
