Job DescriptionKelly Services has temp-to-hire Assembly / Manufacturing positions open in Clyde, NY. Come join one of our leading aerospace manufacturers! You will help to produce fuel nozzles for some of the most powerful gas turbine engines in the world! HURRY!! We are accepting candidates through Thursday, May 11th. * 6:30AM-2:30PM $10.75 per hour* 8:30AM-4:30PM $10.75 per hour* 2:30PM-10:30PM $11.25 per hour In this position you will accurately and efficiently assemble and test a variety of products. Responsibilities may include: * Access print(s) online and follow instructions to build to required specifications * Report issues with quality, process, equipment, or materials * Identify and provide suggestions on areas for improvement * Attending required training * Inspects parts using measuring instruments, gages, and comparators. * Uses various types of magnification equipment to detect damage. * Visually inspects parts for burrs and damaged machined surfaces * Rotate and learn different operations throughout the facility * Verify correct tooling for the operation and uses them correctly * Records test data accurately using basic test equipment * Complete accurate and daily records of work performed * Maintain a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) free work environmentRequirementsMinimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Solid Work History with Good Attendance * General manufacturing experience preferred * Basic computer skills * Basic problem solving skills * Must demonstrate manual dexterity and a willingness to learn * Demonstrates effective verbal and written skills * The Ability to work in a team environment. * Due to the Company-s military contractor status, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States, and must provide evidence of citizenship or immigration status upon applying for the position. * Must pass background screen and drug test before start date  Typical Mental and Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, climb and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to operate machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of the team member is regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others.
