Compounding Verifier - Full-time / Part-time

For over 70 years, Kelly Services has provided outstanding employment opportunities to the most talented individuals in the marketplace.  We are seeking a Backup Compound Verifiers for a top Consumer Products company in Los Angeles, CA.  Location: Los Angeles, CA (LAX area) Work closely with the Compounding department to ensure all processes are being followed and all standards are being met. Identify any mistakes or oversights that might take place and request corrections.  Review the MWI, Manufacturing work instructions, and verify all required steps have been taken during the process.  Review batch records for accuracy. Check cleaning tags to ensure all equipment being used has not expired sanitation.  Compare the BOM, Bill of materials, to the pick list. Verify all item and ingredient #s match.  Check for discrepancies Verify signatures and stamps are on the MWI, Manufacturing Work Instructions, weigh tickets, cleaning tags, etc. Match temperature charts to the MWI to ensure kettles are ready to use.  Verify all ingredients are added at the appropriate times, sweep and turbines are in range, and the checklists are completed. Check for revisions on the MWIs Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years’ experience working in a similar role. Have the ability to stand and walk for the entire shift Have the ability to reach, kneel, bend, and stoop.  Must be able to wear steel toe shoes/boots, a hairnet, sleeve coverings, and other required personal protection equipment. Able to work in a manufacturing setting on the manufacturing floor Ability to effectively communicate and comprehend all manufacturing and safety protocols.
