Job DescriptionOrder ProcessorPosition to support/drive to achieve all Key Business Metrics/Goals for the business which include but are not limited to: Safety, Quality, Customer Delivery, Customer Allegiance Score, and PPI & Productivity Savings. Perform routine Sales Order procedural activities to the extent that demonstrates the principles of informed compliance and reasonable care Review and analyze orders for logistical needs, provide transportation quotes, and prepare invoices for orders Request and document booking information from freight companies and maintain transportation instructions and charges on customer orders Manage and communicate shipping schedules for sales orders on the floor to maintain efficient process flow through picking, quality control, and packing functions Prepare appropriate documentation for shipments (invoice, packing list, etc.) Liaise with Customer Service to ensure open communication with regards to the pick-up, transport, and delivery of orders Track shipments and orders using appropriate internal and external systems upon request Identify new procedures and methods to expedite delivery to the customer and cost savings plans for the efficient and compliant operation of the department Assist with special projects as required (ex.
