Job DescriptionKelly Services is seeking a bright, motivated, hardworking material handler to join the team at local manufacturer in Bothell, WA. 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm - 1:00 am Competitive pay rate: $14/Hr Long term opportunity. The Material Handler is responsible for supplying materials to support production by performing the duties involved in receiving, stocking and issuing materials/supplies. Job Responsibilities: Supports production by pulling all materials necessary to complete shops orders Assists in manufacturing processes and changeovers as requested Verifies and maintains product identification and count Communicates with lead and assemblers to determine schedule of work for pulling materials Prepares inventory records and investigates discrepancies in stock counts Performs in-process production scrap duties Organizes material shelves/staging areas as needed for optimum efficiency Operates material movement equipment as needed in a safe and efficient manner to prevent injury to self, others and other equipment Supports departmental goals and objectives for quality, production and equipment maintenance Maintains clean work areas; generates move or scrap transactions as needed to ensure inventory accuracy Comply with all established safety procedures and policies Skills & Abilities: Must have the ability to take an active role in recommending and implementing continuous improvements in the material handling department Must have the ability to successfully complete on-the-job training (OJT) requirements Must posses the ability to use judgment related to identifying potential safety hazards Must have the ability to earn motorized material handling equipment license Basic computer skills required Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum three months related experienceRequirementsKelly Services is seeking a bright, motivated, hardworking material handler to join the team at local manufacturer in Bothell, WA.
