Job DescriptionKelly Services is seeking a HR Generalist in Swedesboro, NJ. This is a direct hire opportunity! Location: Swedesboro, NJ Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, M-F Duration: Direct Hire Pay: Please provide salary requires upon resume submissionHR Generalist Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:- Partner effectively with employees, managers and corporate contacts to handle general HR demands.- Work with all levels of organization to address employee relations concerns, investigate employee situations, and recommend appropriate resolutions.- Oversee recruiting and on-boarding process, including but not limited to: posting positions, screening resumes, working with employment agencies, submitting background checks, I9 verification, conducting new hire orientation.- Highly involved in organizing annual open enrollment, benefit administration and counseling with the support of insurance broker.- Coordinate performance management process and employee engagement initiatives for the facility.- Maintain HRIS, generate reports, import/export data, etc.- Prepare reports and maintain logs for workers compensation, OSHA, AAP, EEO-1 and other required compliance and regulatory reporting.- Submit payroll hours for Omega and Agency personnel.- Assist with setting up schedules for HR training, meetings, and company events.- Oversee FMLA program working with third party vendor.- Produce and distribute various facility communications.HR Generalist Qualifications: - Bachelor-s Degree in a related field- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment preferred- Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills- General knowledge of laws relating to the HR function such as FMLA, ADA, Workers Comp, FLSA, EEOC, etc.- Excellent communication skills - must have strong, professional writing skills and have ability to speak effectively in front of a group- Demonstrates discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment- Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate policies and practices in way that is clearly understood by the target audience- Self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks- Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of the organization- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities- Preferred experienced and knowledge in HRIS and other HR Systems; Ultipro experience a plus- Proficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher- Ability to listen well, comprehend and analyze situations- Experience with organizing benefit open enrollment and benefits administration- Experience with payroll and reporting, and researching and troubleshooting issues.- Experience with hourly recruiting, employee relations and engagement, payroll, policy communication and administration, HR compliance, etc. Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
