Job DescriptionPOSITION: Inventory Handler SOF L1POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for utilizing the BLS Inventory System to pick and pack custom orders using radio frequency devices and material handling procedures in a warehouse environment.JOB DESCRIPTION- Build a -pick cart- for order fulfillment and pick orders using Pick-to-Box system- Lift boxes up to 50lbs- Pick items/ materials from inventory locations- Count items /materials- Pack orders- Quality check orders and verifying item match- Operate Connect Ship and perform weight check function - Maintain and complete daily forms- Perform housekeeping in assigned areas- Train others on procedures and processes- Other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Ability to be Hi-lo certified (valid MI driver-s license OR proof vision meets requirements)- Scale counting and hand counting knowledge and ability- Basic computer knowledge- Knowledge and skill with HRT (RF) Scanner and Pick-to-Box system- BLS Inventory System knowledge- Knowledge and compliance with Lean 5-S practices- Knowledge and compliance with company Safety and Security rules- Ability to solve basic problems, make decisions, and pay attention to details- Efficient handling and processing skill- Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English- 75% score or better on most recent Dialog Direct Performance Appraisal (if applicable) EQUIPMENT & TOOLS- Handheld scanner (HRT)- Computer scan and ConnectShip label printing - Inventory resolution form- Exception freight tag- Stop tag - Housekeeping tools / stationEDUCATION- Minimum Grade 12 diploma Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
