Job DescriptionA worldwide leader in freight forwarding and supply chain logistics is seeking qualified applicants for their Peoria, IL operations team.Desired skill set: Strong customer service, communication and negotiation skills Able to identify potential issues and resolve independently Process analysis skills Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform basic leadership tasks in a small group setting Strong keyboarding capability and intermediate experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) Basic accounting principles Previous accounts payable experienceResponsibilities: Ensuring service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with customer and company objectives Communication with internal and external customers on a regular basis Performs deep dive root cause analysis and prevents findings to leadership Administrative duties including accounts payable / billing We are looking for applicants with a track record of dependability. Strong customer service and communication skills utilized in a professional environment are desired. Previous logistics experience is not required to be considered for the position, but preferred as well as previous billing experience.RequirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Some testing for position may be required.
