Billing and Reimbursement Specialist - Memphis, TN - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is currently seeking several Billing and Reimbursement Specialists for one of our top clients in Memphis, TN. Pay Rate: $14.50 per Hour Schedule:  TBD Duration:  05/15/2017 to 07/31/2017 Anticipated Start date: May 15th As a Billing and Reimbursement Specialist placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for following standard operating procedures to edit, bill and collect payment on basic outstanding claims in pursuit of reducing the company's accounts receivable.   DUTIES Prepares and reviews claims to ensure billing accuracy according to payor requirements, including but not limited to codes, modifiers, pricing, dates and authorizations  Pursues collection activities to obtain reimbursement from payers and/or patients  Frequent follow up with payers and/or patients on outstanding accounts  Escalates delinquent and/or complex claims to Lead Reimbursement Specialist for appropriate action.   Other duties assigned by management EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE HS Degree (or equivalent)  Prior Reimbursement (Billing/Collection) experience  PC Skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Internet  Detail oriented and strong organizational skills  Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload  Integrity to handle sensitive or confidential information is critical Why Kelly?
