Machine Operator - Entry Level

Today, we are proud to offer a temporary contract Machine Operator Entry Level position for a top Medical Device company in Raynham, MA.   JOB TITLE: Machine Operator (entry level) LOCATION: Raynham, MA LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 2 Years SHIFT: 2nd shift:  3pm-11pm M-F manager is flexble with hours worked: ie: 12 -8pm, 2pm – 10pm, etc training for this role is on 1st shift   7am-3pm M-F must be able to work overtime as needed, at times this may be mandatory  PAY RATE: $14/hr Summary: For this entry level Cottonoid Machine Operator position, the operator is feeding cottonoid material into the machine.  This is primarily a standing position in which you move from machine to machine to monitor production.  Must be self-reliable as you will be alone in the machine room. Job Description: The Cottonoid Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery to produce parts, tools and equipment using sketches, prints or instruction manuals.  For this position, the operator is feeding cottonoid material into the machine. This individual will be accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.  Assist with set up and operation of machinery to produce parts, tools and equipment.  Modify parts based on quality inspection results to assure conformance to requirements.  Clean machines as necessary and assist with basic maintenance.  Correct basic manufacturing problems as directed.  Request supplies for assigned equipment and maintains calibration records.  Notify supervisor when machinery needs maintenance or repairs.  Review and implement all quality and safety requirements.   Qualifications: A minimum of a High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required.  The ability to work alone and make be self-reliable Experience in a similar production, assembly or manufacturing environment preferred. Must be able to speak, read, write and take direction in English. Basic measuring skills using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc. preferred.
