Our client the world's largest pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution services company in Mounds View, MN is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $23-$25 per hour depending upon experience. Two month contract (possibly longer) SUMMARY: This position has the responsibility and authority to provide day-to-day administrative support for the Technology, Strategy, Business Development and Research leadership and team and ongoing project administration support for the Research Review Board.  YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Make travel arrangements for assigned Associates through Concur, including researching travel options per T&E policies. Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the various Travel and Expense (T&E) policies and tools. Process expense report submissions for assigned Associates per T&E policies. Ensure that assigned Associates schedules and calendars are current. Schedule meetings, conferences, and seminars as requested using tools identified by the company. Work as part of a broader administrative team by providing backup support for other Administrative Assistants in the company. Act as the local host for all visitors by welcoming, escorting, assigning guest space, and related logistics for office guests. Provide assistance with employee engagement functions such as meeting logistics, social activities, charity drives, celebrations, and corporate campaigns. Assist with catering requests as directed. Assist with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects/meetings/events as requested for both supported and non-supported Associates. May assist in facilitation of Candidate interviews which can include “hosting” candidates by greeting and auditing candidates’ meetings/phone calls, printing of agendas, securing meals and departing transportation as needed. REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE: Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two-year Associate's Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook Travel and expense experience. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills, good analytical skills, strong organizational skills; attention to detail. TERMS OF ASSIGNMENT: Requires: Two-year Associate's Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Start date: June 19th, 2017 Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with possible overtime.
