Lead Packer / Assembly (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Job DescriptionKelly Services has opportunities for a Working Lead in a packing facility. Individuals will be responsible for maintaining the hopper levels as instructed and packing final products into boxes with count and weight accuracy. Once moved into the working lead role will assist with shift change and monitoring the packer / feeders production flow during the shift.Shifts will be 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Looking for someone with leadership skills, the ability to work unsupervised, learn quickly, team player and experience with problem resolution and not afraid to take initiative. THIS POSITION WILL BE TRAINED IN THE PACKER ROLE THEN BASED ON PERFORMANCE MOVED INTO THE WORKING LEAD ROLE. Potential for temp to hire. Job Requirements - Packer - Examine and inspect materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met. - Packer - Must keep up with production and record readings and other information on forms as required. - Packer - Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.- Packer - Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas- Feeder - Breaking down boxes when carrier/cards have been emptied.- Feeder - Make and position boxes for packers, retrieve and seal filled boxes- Feeder- Seal containers or materials, using designated tools or equipment.- Feeder - Load materials and products into package processing equipment.- Feeder - Correctly place label on boxes as instructed - Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas as directed- Lifting up to 35lbs. - Bilingual English/Spanish!You will be required to wear a lab coat, hair/beard nets while at your station. assembly, warehouse, packing, packers, manufacturing, picker, material handlerRequirementsKelly Services pays weekly.
