We are proud to offer a Contract opportunity to work as a Documentation Specialist in a prestigious Fortune 500® company located in Hayward, CA.  Title: Documentation Specialist Duration: 3+ Months Location: Hayward, CA Shift: 1st shift position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the activities of the Product Design Owner (PDO) at the Hayward, CA facility. The PDO is responsible for design control and risk management activities for Biosurgery products produced under the Design Owning Organization (DOO) at Hayward.    Skills: • Support the PDO in fulfilling requirements for design control and risk management activities for medical device products manufactured at Hayward  • Organize and transfer design and quality documentation to electronic format in order to:  o Help ensure that design and development activities and documentation are within compliance  o Help maintain the Design History Files and Risk Management files for Hayward products  • Other tasks as needed  • Organizational skills and attention to detail  • Ability to work effectively independently and in team environment.  • Solid communication skills – both written and oral  • Knowledge of quality standards, with a particular focus on design control, change control, and risk management, is highly desirable.  Requirements: • Bachelor's degree with 0-5 years’ work experience  • Regular attendance is necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.  • Sedentary work, lifting a max of 10 lbs; walking/standing occasionally.
