Landscaping Reconstruction Associate

Kelly Services is currently looking to hire a Landscaping Reconstruction Associate and we would love to hear from you.  You will be working for a global automotive giant in Dearborn, MI.  Position Information Position:        Reconstruction Equipment Operator Location:         Dearborn, MI Pay Rate:        $14/hr. Schedule:       Monday - Friday Work Shift:     3:00pm – 11:30pm                   Assignment:   Long-term contract   Job Responsibilities & Duties Reconstruction duties including tree stump removal, sod replacement, plantings and hardscape installations Snow removal and/or salting and sidewalk snow removal operations during the winter Safe operation of all necessary equipment such as loaders, skid loaders, chain saws, chippers, stumpers, etc. Responsible for the safety, supervision, and training of fellow crew members Familiarity with safety guidelines and equipment manuals Responsible for the daily and weekly general maintenance of assigned equipment Maintaining neat and clean equipment and trucks Reporting of all equipment breakdowns or problems promptly to a supervisor Completing all required paperwork such as timesheets and equipment inspections Communicate daily with supervisor as to the status of work Create work as needed to maximize total work hours to increase productivity Substitute for absent foreman whenever necessary   Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience  in the landscape, turf or related industry  Experience operating commercial landscaping and reconstruction equipment Valid driver’s license, without restrictions CDL License (Class A) preferred Previous commercial pesticide application experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Strong supervisory skills Positive and assertive attitude Pesticide license in the minimum of category 6 (within 30 days of hire) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL- A) within 60 days of date of hire Flexibility to work overtime as needed   Apply on-line for immediate consideration or send resumes directly to STEM547@kellyservices.com.   Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
