Job DescriptionFillers Needed in Matteson, ILMust be able to work First, Second or Third shift$13.50 per hourContract to hire positionBenefits upon hireJob Description*The Filler is an hourly employee who works in the filling department of the production plant. The filler is responsible for filling and packaging of paint products into containers*Reads instructions on batch ticket to properly set various filling and packaging equipment for automatic operation*Lifts and maneuvers hoses weighing up to 50 pounds to overhead connections for coupling the pipe system*Opens and closes valves located at various levels, orientation and degrees of manageability*Lifts and positions stacks of labels, lids, pails and cartons weighing up to 50 lbs from floor level to overhead level to load automatic machines*Climbs and descends stairs and ladders in the course of the filling process*Lifts and positions up to 5 Gallon pails of product weighing up to 65 lbs from waist height to floor level*Completes paperwork involved in the course of the filling process*Uses painting and cleaning equipment as needed*Performs other duties as assigned *Occasional exertion in excess of 50 lbs of force occasionally, and in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly to move objectsRequirementsQualifications*MUST have at least 1 years experience working on an assembly line and supervising the line or Filling/Batchmaking*Must be available to work any shift*Filler or Batchmaking experience preferred (Such as a paint, food, or beverage company)*Detail oriented *Strong mathematical skills are required*High School Diploma or GED*Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs*Forklift experience preferredHighlightsIf you feel you meet ALL of the above qualifications please email your resume to KAYK334@KELLYSERVICES.COM.
