Shipping/Receiving Mtls Handler and Crate Builder

Job DescriptionTypical duties include receiving and unloading freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, check for damaged goods, verify the quantities and quality of the order. Must wrap, package and ship supplies, deliver and retrieve supplies to and from work or storage areas, tag and issue supplies, stock the shelves and rotate inventory. The individual may also receive, store and ship flammable, explosive or caustic and hazardous material. They would also enter inventory of purchase orders into Fourth Shift and Visibar operating systems. Must have accuracy when checking inbound goods. Must be able to help build crates using power tools and help to crate items.RequirementsPrefer someone with experience in handling, storing and shipping materials or supplies, operating material handling equipment and reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness but we are willing to train the right individual if they show a great willingness to learn. Basic Math SkillsExperience with Computer, greet individuals, answer the shipping phone, perform postal clerk duties, bend, stoop, lift objects up to 50#, stand and walk continuously in a dust and dirty environment.
