Job Mission The DAS Operations Learning Content Developer is integral to supporting DAS Operations Strategic Goals for Learning: By ensuring DAS Operations sub-functions utilize industry best practices for content development and delivery. By supporting DAS Operations Learning MI Plan in developing and implementing accelerated training content for DAS Operations. By working with the DAS Operations Learning Organization to enable leveraging of effective training resources, curricula, and LMS management, along with other collaborative efforts. Preferred Experience / Skills Ability to manage projects and multiple priorities in a fast paced environment at a high level of competence. Ability to build and maintain credibility with internal and external contacts. Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Strong consulting, analytical, negotiating, decision making and problem solving skills. Experience proactively developing effective working relationships and using influence in order to gain commitment and deliver on desired/agreed outcomes with a range of stakeholders. Able to describe key activities as simple processes/flow diagrams. Practical experience with using training tools, processes, and standards. Experience with Instructional Design (ISD) best practices, especially writing learning objectives & e-learning interactions. Strong attention to detail and proofreading. Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines. Work both independently and within a team.  Knowledge of e-learning software capabilities as well as supplemental media capabilities (video, simulations, etc.) to create dynamic engaging learning solutions. Experience with course development teams (BPSC Content Assembly Team, External vendors)—Preferred but not required. Experience with branding and graphic design or development vendors (Dow Photo Archive, Stock Photography, BPSC, Studio 20/20, etc). Experience with file maintenance, file share structure, and best practices. Responsibilities: The Learning Content Developer Responsibilities are outlined below: Primary responsibilities in the development of DAS learning solutions: Writes/clarifies learning objectives with DAS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Collects technical content from SMEs and creates learning solutions using research-based adult learning methods (e.g. e-learning storyboards, instructor led class materials, job aides, web pages, etc.). Creates in-class & e-learning activities which align to learning objectives and effectively engage learners Creates course evaluations that directly align to learning objectives. Organizes and prioritizes review feedback with SMEs Serve as learning focal point for DAS SMEs and BPSC content assembly team to ensure objectives and specific timing requirements are met Completes and submits relevant project initiation form for BPSC or Translation Department Collects data for learning metrics and reports Develop testing for technical certification and support development of test banks, necessary. Collaborates with DAS Ops Learning Team to: Develop Standards and Guidelines on learning best practices. Collaborates with Global Learning Technologist Leader to enable effective deployment of new programs. Share learning best practices with team to increase team expertise. Design DAS Ops Learning website to communicate services to other sub-functions. Design of DAS Ops Learning team branding. Provides Content Development Project Management Services by: Updating of project plans. Provides regular progress updates to DAS Instructional Systems Design Learning Specialist and stakeholders. Resolves and /or escalates issues in a timely fashion (e.g. troubleshooting e-modules, issues with collecting information from SME’s, barriers to meeting/exceeding deadlines, etc.) Why Kelly®?
