Forklift / Machine Operator

Job Description$11.00/ hr Possible Temp-To-Hire positionsMajor DutiesPositions available include Plater Operator, Plater Helper, Press Operator, Annealing/Burnishing Operator,and Fork LIft Driver but does not exclude any production positions in any department.The positions require the operation of any number of machines and/or processes in the production of solidand strip zinc products.Ideal candidates will have the following experience, skills and education:- High school diploma or equivalent- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions and decimals.- Heavy manufacturing machine operation- Fork truck operation- Chemical measuring and chemical adds in gallon + quantities- Use of personal protective equipment such as goggles, face shields, respirators, sleeves and gloves- Computer data entry including PLC controlled machineryThe manufacturing operation is 24/7 which requires the ability to work any shift and weekends.
