Application Based Reliability Operator- Power Tool Tester - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionOur customer located in Towson, MD is in need of Power Tool Testers on 1st & 2nd shift. Job duties are as follows:Test and evaluate power tools following written detailed procedures or instructions; record and track power tool progress using data log sheets; set up work stations including loading and unloading of materials; clean-up work space at end of shift; follow procedures in great detail; note any issues that are out of the ordinary for a specific task; observe tools in operation for the duration of the test; relay information and issues found throughout testing to the test technician or engineer; operate several tools at one time; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. by yourself; complete repetitive motions with tools throughout duration of shift; hold up to 10 lbs. at shoulder height for at least five seconds or more; navigate a Windows 7 computer and have some knowledge of using MSWord or Excel as needed. Power tools can give off heavy vibration at times and operator must be able to withstand this for up to six hours in a shift. Materials worked with include: Plywood, 2X10s; sheet metal, and other wood materials. Must be details oriented and able to perform tasks as necessary.RequirementsAbility to lift to 50lbs.
