Job DescriptionThis is a data entry position working within an office environment for a global manufacturing corporation. The data entry specialist will be responsible for capturing information into a specialized database. We are looking for tech-capable individuals that are proficient in Microsoft Word/Powerpoint and Excel. Must be a self-motivating and detail-oriented individual who is capable of critical thinking, team player with problem solving skills who openly and effectively communicates. The ideal candidate must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment with firm deadlines. Data entry experience preferred. MUST BE ABLE TO READ BLUE PRINTS. Will train on software, however Marco, Baan, and Supply and Demand program training available.The individual will be required to work closely with other data technicians, other departments, and network personnel to ensure that all data is created, stored and delivered as accurately and efficiently as possible. They will also need to develop working knowledge of all data collection procedures and be able to make decisions based on end user needs.RequirementsIdeal Candidates Should:1. Be able to lift 10-20 lbs.2. Maintain constant communications with all departments regarding the use, storage and organization of data for all production processes.3. Ensure that data collection efforts keep pace with the technological advances of the Profiling Application and maintain consistent quality work.4. Be able to ingest and act upon constructive criticism.5. Take charge and assist with special projects.6. Train and assist personnel in understanding the organization, storage and delivery of data.7. Assist with the inventory process in a "back-up" capacity when needed.8. Assist the client-facing team by providing information needed to manage their accounts.9.
