CMM Programmer (Akron, Ohio)  Our client, a contract manufacturer and molder of engineered resins, is currently hiring a 3rd Shift CMM Programmer. This position is a permanent, hiring process is Contract to Hire.  The CMM Programmer will be responsible for developing routine inspections used with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s,).  This role is integral in supporting engineers, technicians and inspectors in various projects involving capacity improvement and test method development. The CMM Programmer must be able to define quality concepts and quality processes; apply quality tools and interpret information and data. Essential Job Functions: Programming CMM's using PC-DIMIS  Being able to devise and implement new programs and measurement methods that will be used to conduct quality control inspection of incoming material for conformance to specification Implementation of inspection tools and methods by supporting test method validation activities, equipment qualification activities, documenting test data results and participating in failure analysis investigation Requirements: Minimum 1-3 years of related experience Previous QA Inspector experience Working knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation preferred Good communication skills - ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel Plastics or injection molding operation experience preferred CMM & PPAP experience preferred Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, operations, equipment and methods Knowledge of statistical analysis, precision measurement, industrial practices, statistical process control (S.P.C.), total quality management (T.C.M), and ISO 9000 preferred Must be able to read micrometer and blueprints PCDMIS Software knowledge a plus Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
