Crew Lead in Baytown Needed - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description- Load & unload chemical tank trucks both hazardous & non-hazardous- Record product temperature and levels in storage tanks- Perform work as assigned and directed by the Area Supervisor- Perform all work in strict accordance with Environmental, Health and - Safety Policies as well as procedures- Perform all work in strict accordance with operating policies, - Procedures and checklists- Climb tank stairs, operate valves and pumps, gauge tanks- Maintain training in Safety and Hazmat requirements; Houston Area Safety Counsel and/or other safety and regulatory classes/schools- Perform or assist in the performance of preventative and regular- Maintenance duties- Assist operations with product transfer alignments including piping,- Pumps and associated valves- Direct Chemical Loaders assigned to crew- Assist in training Chemical Loaders assigned to crewRequirements- Must be Safety and Hazmat Certified; Houston Area Safety Counsel/ within 90 days of hire date. - Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge- Previous Chemical, Refining, or Terminal Experience is Preferred- Previous leadership rolls is preferred- Must qualify to be issued a TWIC card if/or when requested- Must have a valid driver-s license- Must be a US citizen- Must speak English fluently- Must be able to effectively communicate orally- Must be able to except supervision/direction and work effectively & Cooperatively with other people- Proficient in comprehension of written work orders- Basic math skills required- Must be able to pass respirator fit test; Houston Area Safety Counsel or other approved fit test facility - Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30 and/or 11:00 am to 4:30 pm- Work is inside and outside. - Outside work is subject to any and all elements- Must be able to work in outdoors environment- Must be willing to work overtime as needed- Must be able to work in extreme working conditions such as inclement Weather conditions- Must be able to work in elevated work areas- Able to work with wrenches and other tools- Ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds. - Ability to climb ladders- Ability to climb under rail cars- Requires turning and tightening nuts and bolts lifting up to 50 pounds at a time- Able to handle working with chemicals, acids and petroleum products and be around vapors with respiratory protection Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
