Chassis Dyno Test Tech 2nd shift - Full-time / Part-time

CHASSIS DYNO TEST TECHNICIAN – 2nd Shift Ann Arbor, MI   Kelly Services is seeking Chassis Dynamometer Test Technicians who have experience setting up vehicles in dyno cell for testing and checking data for a long-term contract opportunity with an Automotive Manufacturer in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  This position will be on second shift (3pm – 11:30pm), except during training, which will be on day shift.    DUTIES: Operation of chassis dyno & emission analyzers including:  dyno operation, install & removal of vehicle, vehicle driving based on drivers’ aid or test instructions, & emission analyzer operation Check data after completing test to ensure data integrity & results meet test request Installation and removal of emission related parts & simulation devices to test all required engine OBD monitors Installation and operation of data acquisition equipment Removal and installation of automotive engines and transmissions Perform general shop functions including vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnosis. Perform any other duties as required, such as 4S   QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of chassis dyno testing experience Associates Degree in Automotive Repair or equivalent Familiar with Chassis dyno development test cycles (FTP, Unified, HWFET, US06, SC03, etc.) Must be able to work in cold & hot environmental chambers / conditions for testing purposes as needed (-40C to 60C) Familiar with testing vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition, and set-up Self starter able to work independently with minimal supervision Intermediate level of welding/fabrication skills required Good driving record Strong evaluation and problem solving skills Good written and oral communication skills are essential Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Detail and teamwork oriented with positive attitude Ability to work OT and off shift as required   Qualified and Interested applicants should apply online!  Note:  As the local branch offices of Kelly Services do not represent the above position, please apply on-line for immediate consideration.  For questions regarding this position, please email Misty at mism836@kellyengineering.com   Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
