Marketing Intern

 Product Development Intern Position:  We are a rapidly growing marketer and distributor of hair products, sold world-wide, located in the Tampa Bay area. Our company needs a versatile and dynamic Product Development Project [Intern]. The primary responsibility of this position will be to assist the product development process, with the focus on working on timelines, working with selected vendors and ensuring that new products are brought to market in a cost effective and timely fashion. The individual will work closely with the Associate Director of R D to facilitate the conceptual development and detailed design of each new product. Facets of development include the product fill, packaging, costing, art work, fragrance panel tests and other areas. The right candidate will be high-energy and enthusiastic about our products. Summary of Responsibilities: Attend and take notes at weekly product development meetings and participate in conceptual design Execute daily tasks to help move projects forward 1. Fragrance panels for approval 2. Test performance of formulations for approval 3. Manage the product profile sheets fact sheets and status of an item in progress 4. Help organize and manage the packaging components 5. Ship out signed approvals of packaging, color chips 6. Coordinate with vendors specific sourcing, costing, and timelines 7.
