Site Logistics Rail Scheduler
Primary Job responsibilities include:
Arrive rails in Rail Tracking Tool from arrived car report.
Select and assign railcars to all rail shipments.
Check off weigh bills.
Data Entry Activities.
Enter daily railcar movements into rail tracking system and create daily rail switch. Fax switch to railroad.
Enter daily railcar and truck loading activities into logbook and fax schedule to loaders.
Fax loaded cars data to appropriate plants.
Input bad orders cars.
Print Pack lists for inbound loads.
Complete SAP transactions.
Sort previous day paperwork and attached scale ticket to each loaded car for outbound shipments.
Check to ensure product availability for orders.
Input seal car/truck seal numbers.
Scheduling - load and depart cars.
Print bill of ladings for cars.
RB status print and fax bill of ladings.
Print rail safe information for each car.
Communicate daily with NA Rail Fleet Administrator to maintain fleet and ensure that railcars are scheduled for needed repairs and inspections.
Input weights into rail tracking tool.
Send e-mail to FNARAIL for any exceptions.
File car paperwork.
Check the day’s outbound against previous day’s no bills.
Create batches for shipments.
Allocate the batch to the delivery for shipment.
Print pack list for the following day’s orders.
Print sample tags for the following day’s order.
Strong initiative, teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential.
High School/GED with two+ years of experience.
