Today, we are proud to offer several temp-to-hire opportunities to work as an Inbound Call Center Agent in downtown Portland, Oregon.Position Summary: Call Center Agents will be responsible for customer service in the billing department for solar energy customers. Agents will receive inquiries regarding customer invoices as well as questions about navigating the website; they will spend a good deal of time educating the consumer on the topic of solar energy and how it relates to the consumer and the billing process. This is a busy, fast-paced environment; agents typically take 100-150 inbound calls per day.Duties/Responsibilities:- Answer calls and respond to e-mails- Handle customer inquiries both on the phone and via e-mail- Research required information using available resources- Manage and resolve customer complaints- Provide customers with product and service information- Enter new customer information into system and update existing customer information- Process payments- Identify and escalate priority issues- Route calls to appropriate resource- Perform follow-up customer calls when necessary- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures- Translate for Spanish-speaking customers (preferred)Top 4 qualities we are looking for:- Punctuality/great attendance- Team player (although agents spend a majority of the time working independently, they should also be able to brainstorm and work well with others)- Ability to receive feedback and grow on it; willingness to accept coaching and put it into action- Must have at least two years of call center experienceEducation/Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent- Proficiency in relevant computer applications- Required language proficiency- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices- Knowledge of call center telephony and technology- At least two years in a call center or customer service environment- Accurate data entry and typing skills- Knowledge of administrative and clerical processesKey Competencies:- Verbal and written communication skills- Listening skills- Problem analysis and problem solving- Customer service orientation- Organizational skills and attention to detail- Good judgment- Adaptability- Teamwork- Stress tolerance- ResilienceWe are looking to fill these positions as quickly as possible, so apply now for immediate consideration!Kelly Services is a Fortune 500® company headquartered in Troy, Michigan.
