Inventory Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionKelly Services is accepting resumes for Inventory Clerk positions available with our client in Cherry Hill, NJ. There are 2 positions available- one for 2nd shift and one for 3rd shift. (Please note that the positions will train on first shift and then transfer to 2nd or 3rd shift.)The Inventory Clerk will help maintain a continuous inventory count on all three shifts. This will ensure proper fiscal requirements, proper security, and that the needs assets are on hand to support plant-wide activities.Responsibilities include: Process purchase orders and purchase card requests Submit bid waivers and post receipts Conduct accurate inventory counts to ensure physical counts match with the computer based system Aid in determining optimum on hand inventory needs Maintain inventory levels Enter and locate information on computer Track shipments Strictly adhere to inventory control programs, proper ordering and returning, and filing of paperwork. Ensure security and distribution of assets Partner with vendors for seamless delivery Ensure proper labeling and organization of all spare parts Provide superior customer servicePosition Requirements: High School diploma or GED required 2-5 years of previous computerized inventory control experience Understanding of supply chain concepts and systems Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
