Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Today, we are proud to offer an exciting temporary opportunity for an Assembler. This position is located in Aston, PA. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:A. Cleans carbon material.1. Manually wipes down carbon material utilizing alcohol solution.2. Seals carbon material by placing on lathe and applying sealer while material turns.3. Assumes responsibility for quality of finished parts.B. Cuts carbon material to proper size for fitting onto bearing.1. Set-up saw for cutting material according to job order.2. Utilize micrometers in measurement of material to assure meeting specifications.3. Assumes responsibility for quality of finished parts.C. Glue carbon material to proper face of bearing.1. Apply the proper amount of epoxy mixture to secure carbon to bearing.2. Utilize height gauge to assure proper tolerances to customer order.D. Light Assembly of Finished bearing.1. Install hardware to bearing in compliance with customer specifications.2. Utilize small hand tools to secure air fittings and o-rings to bearing.3. Assumes responsibility for quality of finished parts.E. Reviews manufacturing process or quality issues with Bearing Production Manager. 1.
