PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Job DescriptionThis is a temp-to-hire position. Upon permanent hire the employee will receive a pay raise, and within 30 days of hire, employees will receive a full benefit package (medical, dental, vision, 401K, Stock Options, paid days off, vacation, etc.)JOB TITLE: CNC MACHINISTHOURS: (1st shift) 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.(2nd shift) 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Full time Monday through FridayPAY RATE: $15.24/hr. (starting rate only)SUMMARYSet up and operate a minimum of one of the following; CNC Vertical Machining Center (VMC), CNC Plasma/Punch Equipment, HAAS and Brake Presses, to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Review setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece. 2. Ability to retrieve preprogrammed machine instructions from database, using machine control console. 3. Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, change tooling when worn, damaged or specified in setup instructions.4. Measure work piece for conformance to specifications.
