Job Description:   This position is responsible for repair, assembly, test, packaging and/or inspection of mechanical and electrical components or final assemblies. Responsible for following all procedures and policies related to this job which can affect the quality of products and services provided to customers. Job Duties: Follow specifications, assembly drawings and process instructions used to assemble electro-mechanical components or sub-assemblies. Demonstrate the ability to use the appropriate equipment, tools and machines in order to complete assigned tasks. Demonstrate that ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Inspect parts according to quality standards.  Responsible for inventory control of parts in the assigned work area. Should also be cross-trained on processes/assemblies in other departments. Able to read and understand assembly blueprints and process documentation Requirements: Apply basic mathematics to job process. Ability to utilize a variety of test equipment to test parts/product. Attention to Detail Ability to work at a fast pace Have good manual dexterity Be able to do repetitive task through entire shift  Be able to stand, bend, stoop, and twist  Occasional lifting/moving of light objects (1 to 50 lbs.). Some pushing and pulling of product weighing up to 60 lbs Minimum Requirements: High School or equivalent. 1-2 years of previous manufacturing preferred.  Prior experience in medical device electro-mechanical assembly in an FDA-regulated environment preferred, but not necessary. Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate initiative and ability to perform as part of a team.
