Job DescriptionA successful oil and gas company is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to directly support an IT team. This is a wonderful contract-to-hire opportunity to support one of Tulsa's premiere employers! The primary function of the Administrative Assistant is to perform general administrative duties including email management, typing, copying and filing all required correspondence. Additional Responsibilities Include: May also order office supplies, maintain records management systems, and schedule meetings or make other special arrangements. Organizes, prioritizes and sorts large volumes of incoming correspondences, including faxes and email. May prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries. Designs, organizes, and maintains specialized and custom forms, records, reports, and files. Creates new files and updates computer information as needed. Works independently and in team settings on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills: 5-7 years of providing high-level administrative support Success providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines. Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts. Demonstrate advanced computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer applications. Need advanced experience with Microsoft Applications. Specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to use MS-Project is a plus. Experience in learning company specific applications. Knowledge and experience with basic Accounting principles. Detail oriented and highly organized.
